How long can arowana live without oxygen?

I don't think they will not survive without oxygen as seen my some of friends' tank without aeration in the sump, their fishes still doing fine. Maybe there is sufficient DO for them for couple or more hours in the sump or tank itself. However, it may not survive without water or during changing of water instead in my own opinion.

To understand whether the BB still survive, it is based on the cloudiness of the water? To what we know as bacteria bloom
