The Navy continued using propeller-driven attack aircraft for more than 25 years since the end of World War II in 1945.
So the Navy continued to use propeller-driven attack aircraft up to early 1970s. These crafts were very popular during the World War II. But later due to the advancement in aircraft industry, the usage of propeller-driven attack aircraft were stopped by the Navy.
