How long does it take for a train to increase its velocity from 10m/s to 40m/s if it accelerates at 3 m/s

given:

acceleration (a) = 3 m/s²

initial velocity (u) = 10m/s

final velocity (v) = 40m/s

Time (t) = ?

Ans: a =(v-u)/t

3 = 40 - 10 / t

= 30 / t

t = 30 × 3

= 60 sec

therefore, it took 1 minute for a train to to increase its velocity.
