given:
acceleration (a) = 3 m/s²
initial velocity (u) = 10m/s
final velocity (v) = 40m/s
Time (t) = ?
Ans: a =(v-u)/t
3 = 40 - 10 / t
= 30 / t
t = 30 × 3
= 60 sec
therefore, it took 1 minute for a train to to increase its velocity.
