The hypotenuse of a right triangle is 10 m.

Stepwise explanation is given below:

- It can he done using pythagoras theorem.

According to the pythagoras theorem,

(H)^2 = (P)^2 + (B)^2

- It is given that the altitude and base are 6m and 8m in length respectively.

So, (H)^2 = (6)^2 + (8)^2

(H)^2 = 36 + 64

(H)^2 = 100

- As by doing the root square of hundred we will get ten as a answer .

- So, H=10 m

Hence, hypotenuse of a triangle is 10 meters long.
