how long it will take the car travelling at a speed of 60m/s if the uniform acceleration during the braking is -12m/s^2

here is the relation between velocity,acceleration and time

v=u+at

initial velocity= 60m/s

final velocity = 0

then time t is

0=60+(-12)(t)

0=60-12t

t= 5 secs
