It depends on the position he/she is having....
If he/she is at the bottom he/she will be promoted in less than 1 year...
If he/she is at higher post he/she would have to wait a longer....

if he/she is in the higher post he can be promoted within 1 year
if she/he is having a minor post then he/she will be given promotion after gaining experience
if she/he is having a minor post then he/she will be given promotion after gaining experience
