Length of platform = 250 m.

To find,

The time taken to cross the platform.

Solution,

The total distance need to be covered = 150 + 250 = 400 m 

Speed = 45 km/hr = 12.5 m/s  (Converted by multiplying with 5/18)

We know that,

$Time = \frac{Distance}{Speed}$

⇒ $\frac{400}{12.5} = 32 sec.$

Therefore time taken is 32 sec.
