How long will it take a force of 10N to stop a mass of 2.5Kg which is moving 20m/s

Actually , the answer is in negative 5 but , you know Time is never negative .
So , + 5 SEC . IS ANSWER ...

we now force(F)= ma
m is the mass and a is acceleration.
so, 10 = 2.5 × a
or, a= 10÷2.5= 4 m/s^2
to stop a body the acceleration must be negetive.

again we now,
v= u + at
v is the final speed
u is the initial speed
t is time.

here, v=0, u=20 m/s , a= -4 m/s^2
so, 0= 20 - 4t
or, t= 20÷4 = 5 sec
