Answer:

Wavelength =frequency/velocity

So here frequency = 5.0 × 1014hz

We cant convert it into m/s

Now ,

Wavelength = 5×1014/3×10^8

5070/3×10^8

1690/10^8 = 1690 × 10^-8 answer

\huge  \bigstar \huge\bold{\mathtt{\purple{✍︎A{\pink{N{\green{S{\blue{W{\red{E{\orange{R✍︎}}}}}}}}}}}}}\huge \Rightarrow

 \large \bold {Given:}

Frequency \large (\upsilon) = 1.5 kHz.

= 1.5 × 10³ Hz

Wavelength  \large (\lambda) = 25 cm = 0.25 m.

Distance  \large (s) = 1.5 km = 1.5 × 10³ m

Time (t) = ?

 \Large \bold \red{Solution:}\Rightarrow

Velocity of sound \large \Downarrow

\large \Rightarrow v = \upsilon\lambda

\large \Rightarrow v = 1.5 × 10³ × 0.25

\large \Rightarrow v = 0.375 × 10³

\large \Rightarrow v = 375 m/s

Time =  \Large \frac {Distance} {Velocity}

t = \Large \frac{s}{v} = \Large \frac{1.5×10³}{375} =  \Large \frac{1500}{375} = 4s

 \Large \bold \purple {Ans:}\Rightarrow The sound wave takes 4 seconds to travel distance of 1.5 Km.
