Given:

  • Diameter = 140m and radius = 70m
  • Speed = 5 m/s
  • Rounds = 6

To Find:

  • how long will it take to run

Solution:

 \sf \: Speed =  \frac{2\pi \: r}{t}  \\

 \sf \: 5 =  \frac{2 \times  \frac{22}{ \cancel{ \: 7 \: }1}  \:\times  \cancel{ \: 70 \: } \: 10}{t}  \\ 5 =  \frac{440}{t}  \\ t =  \frac{440}{5}  \\  \\  \boxed{ \sf \: time = 88 \: seconds}

 \bf \: 88 \: seconds \sf \: will  \: we  \: take  \: to \:  run \:  \:  \\  \sf \:  round  \: a  \: circular \:  ground \:  of   \\  \sf \: diameter  \: 140m \:  with \:  the \:  mean  \:  \\  \sf \: speed \:  of  \: 5m/s

Now according to 6 rounds we will require total 6 × 88 = 528 seconds
