magnetism is a natural force such as gravity .....so the magnetic nature will be obtained to a object due to the flow of current .Even in our daily used magnets ac current is suppled by mixing with diff metals to make a magnet

magnetism was caused by electrons moving inside atoms and creating magnetic fields all around them.
