I am discussing some of the maps :

Political map :

This map also known as political boundary map

This map is used to show the boundaries between countries, state or any two nation.

The are also used to show the rivers ,roads and cities .It is widely used in the United States as a search engine by mostly people.It helped a lot of people to finding states or particular region.

Physical map:

Physical maps are used to show the area not boundaries or border it shows the natural landscape of rivers, mountains, countries ,hills ,lakes etc.It also shows forests area.

Road maps :

Road maps are used to show the roads ,land area .Road maps are mostly used by an army to navigate the path.It also helps in searching enemy location or for planning purposes also

Topographic maps

Topographic maps are used to show the geographical area in the form of scale or line of elevation.it is used by skiers ,hunters and army peoples to ☉locate the location.

Zip code maps :

zip code maps having code or postal code for all area.it is used by government for official purpose.they can easily find an specific area by just enter postal code of that area with the help of zip code maps.
