Explanation:

Given:- V=200v I=10A R¹ = 100 ohm n=?

So, R(s) = V/I => R(s) = 200/10

: R(s) = 20 ohm ----------1

now, R(s)= R¹/n---------2

From 1 and 2 we get ,

20 ohm= R¹/n

so, n=R¹/20

n =100/20

n = 5

hence 5 resistors are needed..
