Let equivalent resistance be R
We know V=IR
R=V/I
=220/5=44
Let n no.of 176 ohm resistance be n.
Therefore
1/176+1/176+....n times=1/44
n/176=1/44
So 176/n=44
n=4
Hope this helps :)

Let equivalent resistance be r.
By Ohm's Law
we have: v=ir
where v =voltage,i=current
Now r=v/i
ATP,
r=220/5=44ohms
Let x resistances be connected in parallel
Hence 1/r+1/r+1/r....x times=1/44
x/r=1/44
x/176=1/44
x=176/44
which is 4.
So 4 resistors are in parallel.
