how many 3-digit numbers are divisible by 9 which always leave remainder 1? solve using A.P.

SriVardhan: take an ap starting from 109, because that's the first 3 digit number divisible by 9 and giving 1 as the remainder. Keep adding 9. so the ap is 109, 118, 127,...........,991. calculate 'n' taking the last term, 991 as the nth term
