Volume of cuboid = 16 x 12 x 8 = (64 x 24)m^3 = 1536m^3

Volume of cube =  4^3 = 64m^3

Number of cubes that can be cut = \frac{1536}{64} = 24

∴ 24 such cubes can be cut from the cuboid.

Dimensions of cuboid are :-
Length = 16m
Breadth = 12m
Height = 8m

Side of cube = 4m

Volume of cuboid = lenght × breadth × height
Volume of cuboid = 16 × 12 × 8

Volume of cube = side^3 = 4^3
Volume of cube = 4 × 4 × 4
___________________________________

Volume of cuboid = volume of cube × number of cubes

16 × 12 × 8 = 4 × 4 × 4 × number of cubes

 \frac{16 \times 12 \times 8}{4 \times 4 \times 4} = number \: of \: cubes \\
12 × 2 = number of cubes

Ans. Number of cubes = 24
