Given two cubes ..
i.) A big solid cube with
edge ( a ) = 20cm
So, the volume of the big cube = a3
= ( 20 )3cm
= 8000 cm3
ii. ) A small cube with
edge ( a ) = 5cm
so, the volume of the small cube = a3
= ( 5 )3cm
= 125cm3
No. of small cubes that can be formed from the big cube = volume of small cube / volume of big cube
= 8000cm3 / 125cm3
= 64..
Therefore, 64 small cubes can e formed from the big cube...!!
