As two circles are always tangent to each other, centers of the three circles will for an equilateral triangles with sides equal to the coins diamter.
The angle of the equilateral triangle is 60°.
As the circle is formed by total of 360°, 6 such trangle can be kept touching each other perfectly (as shown in the fig-2)
Thus total number of 6 coins can saround central coin perfectly.
