How many 6 digit even numbers can be formed using 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 so that the digits should not repeat and the second last digit is even

Let the 6 digit spaces be represented by _

So,

_ _ _ _ _ _

Now,

Second last space is even , so there are only 3 numbers which are even in the given set of numbers

Hence,

Remaining can be filled in one less to the corresponding since , repetition is not allowed

3 4 5 6 3 2

So,

Total number of ways = 3×4×5×6×3×2

=2160 way
