How many 6 digit perfect squares can be formed using all the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 as digit?​

Answer:

a) First lets consider with individual digits:

With Digit 1:

1 = sq. 1

With Digit 6: None

With Digit 9:

9 = Sq. of 3

b) With combination of 2 digits:

With digits 1 & 6:

16 = Sq. of 4

With 1 & 9: None

With 6&9: None

c) With combination of all 3 digits:

169 = Sq. of 13

196 = Sq. of 14

961= Sq. of 31

So Total number of perfect squares which can be formed by using 1,6 & 9= 6
