no. of molecules in 1 mole H2O is 6.022× 10^23.
so no of moles in 1/2 or 0.5 mole is 1/2 × 6.022× 10^23 = 3.011×10^23.

1 mol of water = 6.022×10^{23} molecules

∴ 0.5 mol of water = \frac{6.022\times 10^{23}}{2}

b) Hydrogen atoms

Water is composed of 2 hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.

1 mol of water = 2 × 6.022×10^{23} atoms of hydrogen

0.5 mol of water = 6.022×10^{23} atoms of hydrogen.

c) Oxygen atom
