Glucose has formula C6H12O6.

So, 1 molecule of glucose has 6+12+6 => 24 atoms in it.

Molar mass of glucose= 6*12 + 12*1 + 6*16

=>72 + 12 + 96

=> 180 g mol-1

So, 1 mol has 180 g.

Hence, 2.3 g is x mol.

x=2.3/180 mol.

x=23/1800 mol.

As, each mol of glucose will have 6.023*10^23 molecules.

So, 23/1800 mol will have 6.023*10^23*23/1800 molecules.

So, number of atoms present in 2.3 grams of glucose:

6.023*10^23*(23/1800)*24 atoms.

1847.053*10^20 atoms.

1.847053 * 10^23 atoms.

approx. 1.847 X 10^23 atoms.
