H2S = 3 atoms in 1 molecule - count them : 2H atoms and 1 S atom
PO43- : 1 phosphorus atom and 3 oxygen atoms.....so, 4!!!!

karanmanhotra47: i dont get it plz explain it
ramisettysailikhith: did u report my answer
karanmanhotra47: i m not someone as

Answer:

1) 3 atoms are present in hydrogen sulfide.

2) 5 atoms are present in phosphate ion.

Explanation:

1) Total number of atom in hydrogen sulfide:

Number of hydrogen atoms = 2

Number of sulfur atom = 1

Total number of atom in hydrogen sulfide = 2 +1 = 3

Total number of atom in hydrogen sulfide is 3.

2) Total number of atom in phosphate ion:

Number of phosphorus atoms = 1

Number of oxygen atom = 4

Total number of atom in hydrogen sulfide = 1 + 4 = 5

Total number of atom in phosphate ion is 5.
