HEY MATE!!!
thERE ARE TWO TYPES OF CHEMICAL BONDS
(1). IONIC BOND :- BONDS WHICH ARE FORMED BY LOSING AND GAINING OF ELECTRONS...
THEY ARE MOSTLY FORMED BETWEEN METAL AND NON - METAL...
(2). COVALENT BOND:- BOND WHICH FORMED BY SHARING OF ELECTRONS...
HOPE IT HELPS U☢

hlo mate here is ur answer .
There are 2 types of bonds
1. sigma bond .
2. pi bond .
SIGMA BOND :
* It is formed by the end - end on overlap of orbitals.
* It has independent existence .
* It is a strong bond because axial overlap is more .
* There can be only one sigma bond between atoms .
PI BOND :
* It is formed by the lateral overlap of orbitals .
* It has no independent existance .
* It is a weak bond because lateral overlap is less .
* There can be one or two pi bonds between two atoms .
