Answer:

Hi

Explanation:

The shoulder girdle or pectoral girdle is the set of bones in the appendicular skeleton which connects to the arm on each side. In humans, it consists of the clavicle and scapula; in those species with three bones in the shoulder, it consists of the clavicle, scapula, and coracoid.

Answer:

There are 3 bones.

Explanation:

The shoulder girdle consists of three bones (clavicle, scapula, and humerus) and three joints (sternoclavicular, acromioclavicular, and glenohumeral) as shown in Figure attached below..... Though the scapulothoracic joint (where the scapula meets with the ribs at the back of the chest) contains “joint” as part of the name, it does not fit the traditional definition of a joint, and therefore we exclude it from the list of joints. The anteriorly situated clavicle (collar bone) is a double-curved long bone that connects the sternum to the scapula (shoulder blade). The scapula is a triangular-shaped bone that connects the humerus and clavicle, forms the back portion of the shoulder girdle, and provides attachments for several muscle groups responsible for shoulder motions. The humerus (upper arm bone) is the longest and largest bone of the upper limb. Two bones form the forearm: the medial aspect and the longer one is the ulna, while the lateral aspect of the forearm is called radius. The elbow joint is composed of two articulations, the humeroradial and humeroulnar joints. In the forearm, the radius and ulna articulate with each other at the proximal and distal ends, called radioulnar joints. By holding the ulna still, the radius can rotate around it to allow the forearm rotation. This motion in the wrist area allows us to perform tasks such as installing a lightbulb or turning a screw driver.
