how many bones does new born baby had and why?????

Hi friend this is a interesting question, but you will be shocked to know that a child is born with 270-350 bones!! Which is gradually reduced to 206 bones when we become an adult. The reason is that these bones fuse together to form a protective structure in skeleton. For example is the skull is composed of 8 bones. Similarly many bones in the new born child fuses and condenses together to form a body structure.
The new borns also have a high cartilage percentage which reduces in the adults.

a born baby has 300 bones(somewhere it is written as 270 bones) ....as all the bones are not jointed...
but after sometime when the baby starts growing the bones attach with each other and convert into bone ....
then the no. of bone decreases into 207 bones...
