The branches of the Shakas

Explanation:

There were five branches of Shakas. One part of Shaka was powerful in upper Deccan  

The subsequent branch was powerful in Punjab with Taxila as its capital  The third one built up its hold over western India  

The fourth branch settled in Mathura  

And the fifth branch settled in Afghanistan  

Among these five branches, the main branch to keep up its hold over quite a while was the branch which controlled in western India.
