How many bricks 20 cm long and 10 centimetre wide will be required to pave a floor 10 metre long and 8 metre wide?

                          = 20 x 10

                           =200 sq.cm

Area of pave = l x b

                     = 10 x 8 sq.m

                     = ( 10 x100 ) x ( 8 x 100 ) sq.cm

                     = 8,00,000 sq.cm

Required  required = Area of pave / Area of a brick

                                = 8,00,000 sq.cm / 200 sq.cm

                                =4000

So 4000  bricks are required.
