Step-by-step explanation:

Bricks Required to Build the wall = Volume of Wall ÷ Volume of Brick

Volume of Brick = (24 x 12.5 x 8 ) cm

= 2400cm

Volume of Wall = (18 x 2.5 x 40)m

= 1800 m in Cm = 1800x 100 = 180000

= 180000÷ 2400

= 75 Bricks

HOPE IT helped you

Given:-

Bricks required to build a wall= wall 18m long, 2.5m height and 40m thick

Need To Find:-

Bricks 24cm long, 12.5cm wide and 8cm thick.

Solution:-

∵ Size of Brick and wall is cuboid

∴ Volume of 1 brick = l × b × h

= 24 × 12.5 × 8 cm³

Volume of wall = l × b × h = 18m × 2.5m × 40m

= 1800 × 250 × 400cm³[∵ 1m = 100cm]

Now,

Number of Bricks required,

  \small\sf{\frac{volume \: of \: wall}{volume \: of \: 1 \: brick} }

 \small\sf{=  \frac{1800 \times 250 \times 400}{24 \times 12.5 \times 8} }

 \small\sf{ =  \frac{1800 \times 250 \times 400 \times 10}{24 \times 12.5 \times 8} } =  \frac{1,800,000,000}{2,400}

 = 750,000

Hence, 750,000 bricks will be Required.
