Answer:

volume of bricks = 25×15×8 cm = 3000 cm

volume of wall = 3200× 300 × 40 cm = 38400000

 \frac{3000}{38400000}

= 12800

12,800 bricks are required

Given:-

  • Dimension of bricks
  • Dimension of wall

Further given that:-

  • Brick=>
  • Length = 25cm
  • Breadth= 15cm
  • Height = 8cm
  • Wall
  • Length = 32m
  • Breadth = 3m
  • Height = 40cm

To find:-

  • How many brick will add up to make the wall.

Solution:-

We know that the x number of bricks will make the full wall. So we will find volume of both. Before that we have to make the units similar.

Wall:-

Conversion of m to cm.

 \begin{gathered}  \bf 1m = 100cm \\ \bf 32m = 32 \times 100cm \\  \bf  = 3200cm\end{gathered}

 \begin{gathered}  \bf 1m = 100cm \\  \bf 3m = 3 \times 100cm \\  \bf  = 300cm\end{gathered}

Finding volume:-

We know that volume of cuboid is

  • Length×Breadth×Height
  • 3200cm×300cm×40cm
  • 38400000cm³

Brick:-

We will find volume of brick.

  • 25cm×15cm×8cm
  • 3000cm³

Now as we have volume of both(wall and brick) we will now divide the volume of wall by volume of bricks.

\large\underline{\bf{ \frac{38400000 {cm}^{3} }{3000 {cm}^{3} } }}

 \huge\underline{\bf{12800 \: bricks}}

Therefore,12800 bricks are needed to make the wall.
