Heya mate. (^_-) Solution below.
====================================

Your Question -

How many bricks 25 cm long, 16 cm wide and 7.5 cm thick will be required to build a terrace 5 m long, 3 m broad 80 cm high.

Solution -

Dimensions of one brick -

Length (l) = 25 cm
Breadth (b) = 16 cm
Thickness (h) = 7.5 cm

So, volume of the brick-
= l×b×h
= 25 cm × 16 cm × 7.5 cm
= 3000 cm³

Now, dimension of the terrace-

Length (l) = 5 m = 500 cm
Breadth (b) = 3 m = 300 cm
Height (h) = 80 cm

So, volume of the terrace -
= l × b × h
= 500 cm × 300 cm × 80 cm
= 12000000 cm³

Then, number of bricks required to build the terrace

= volume of terrace ÷ volume of one brick

= 12000000 cm³/3000 cm³

= 4000.

<marquee>Hence, number of bricks required = 4000</marquee>

Thank you. ;-)

Step-by-step explanation:

dimension of one brick-l=25,b=16,h=7.5

volume of brick=l*b*h

25*16*7.5=3000cm3

dimension of terrace

l=5,b=3,h=80

volume of terrace

(l*b*h):500*300*80

12000000cm3

number of bricks required

volume of terrace/volume of one brick

12000000/3000=4000
