Answer:

The number of bricks required is 268,125

The cost of bricks to construct wall is Rs 294,937.5

Step-by-step explanation:

The dimensions of bricks :-

Length = 18 cm = 0.18 m.

Breadth = 12 cm = 0.12 m.

Height = 10 cm = 0.1 m.

Volume of bricks = length * breadth * height =0.18 * 0.12 * 0.1 = 0.00216 m³.

The dimensions of wall :-

Length = 15 m.

Breadth = 6 m.

Height = 6.5 m.

Volume of wall = 15 * 6 * 6.5 = 585 m³.

The volume occupied by motor = \frac{1}{10} *585 = 5.85 m³

The actual volume of wall which is to be construct with bricks = (585 - 5.85) = 579.15 m³.

The number of bricks required to construct wall = \frac{579.15}{0.00216} = 268,125.

The cost 1000 bricks is Rs 1100.

The cost of 1 bricks is = Rs  \frac{1100}{1000} .

So the cost of 268,125 bricks = \frac{1100}{1000} *268125   = Rs 294,937.5
