Volume of brick=25cm×10cm×7.5cm
=1875 cubic cm.
Volume of wall=20m×2m×0.75m
=2000cm×200cm×75cm
=30000000 cubic cm.
No. of bricks=30000000/1875
=16000.
CP of 1000 bricks=900
CP of 1 brick =900/1000=0.9
CP of 16000 brick=0.9×16000
=14400.

Answer:

16000 Bricks, Cost of bricks Rs. 14400

Step-by-step explanation:

Dimension of Wall           = 20 m × 2 m × 0.75 m

                                        = 2000 cm × 200 cm × 75 cm   [ ∵ 1 m = 100 cm]

Dimension of one Brick = 20 cm × 10 cm × 7.5 cm

Number of Bricks = Volume of  Wall / Volume of One Brick

                            = (2000 × 200 × 75) / ( 25 × 10 × 7.5)

                            = 16000

16000 Bricks Required

Now Cost of Bricks = Rs. 900 per  1000 Bricks or ( 900/1000)

Cost of 16000 Bricks = 16000 × (900/1000)

                                   = Rs. 14400
