Answer:

Required number of bricks to build wall=2,00,000

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

How many bricks of dimension 25cm*12cm*5cm will be required to build a wall which would be 5 m broad,3 m long and 20 m thick?

To find:-

How many bricks of dimension 25cm*12cm*5cm will be required to build a wall.

Using formula:-

Volume of a cuboid=lbh cubic units

Solution:-

The dimensions of a wall=5 m broad,3 m long and 20 m thick

Let ,the length=(l)=5m=500cm

(1m=100cm)

Breadth(b)=3m=300cm

Height(h)=20m=2000cm

Volume of the wall=lbh

=>500×300×2000 c

=>30,00,00,000 cm³-----(1)

Dimensions of the bricks=25cm*12cm*5cm

Let the length=(l)=25cm

breadth(b)=12cn

height(h)=5cm

Volume of the brick=lbh

=>25×12×5 cm³

=>1500cm³----(2)

Let Required number of bricks=X

Volume of X bricks=1500X cm³----(2)

(1)&(2) are equal

=>1500X=30,00,00,000

=>X=30,00,00,000/1500

=>X=2,00,000

Answer:-

Required number of bricks to build wall=2,00,000
