Given dimensions of a tile = 22.5 cm x 10 cm x 7.5 cm If l, b and h are the length, breadth and height of a tile then We have total surface area of a tile = 2(lb + bh + hl)

= 2(22.5 × 10 + 10 × 7.5 + 7.5 × 22.5) = 2(225 + 75 + 168.75) = 937.5 sq cm

It is given that paint is sufficient for the area = 2812.50 m2 = 28125000 cm2 Number of tiles that can be painted = (Area that paint is sufficient)/(surface area of a tile)

= (28125000)/(937.5) = 30000

Therefore, the number of tiles that can be painted = 30,000.
