Answer:

45

Step-by-step explanation:

volume of the wall = length × breadth × height

volume = 12.5 × (50÷100)  × 15

(50 ÷ 100 since breadth is in cm we have to convert it into meters)

volume = 93.75 m³.

area of the bricks

                            =  2×[(length×breadth) + (breadth×height) + (height×length)]

converting length, breadth, height into meters.

therefore length in meters = 12.5 ÷ 100 = 1.25 m

breadth in meters = 7.5 ÷ 100 = 0.75m

height in meters = 5 ÷ 100 = 0.05m

therefore area = 2 × [(1.25 × 0.75) + (0.75 × 0.05) + (0.05 × 1.25)]

area = 2.075m²

required no. of bricks = volume 0f wall ÷ area of brick

= 93.75 ÷ 2.075

= 45.18

approximately 45
