Solution :-

Total volume of the wall = L × B × H

→ 11 × 3.5 × 0.4

→ 15.4m³

Amount of volume occupied by sand and cement = 1/10 × total volume

→ 1/10 × 15.4

→ 1.54 m³

Volume of bricks needed =

→ 15.4 - 1.54 = 13.86 m³

Vol of 1 brick = L × B × H

→ 0.22 × 0.10 × 0.07

→ 0.00154 m³

Number of Bricks = Volume of bricks needed/ volume of single brick

→ 13.86/0.00154

→ 9000

9000 bricks are needed
