how many bricks required to build a wall 8m long 6m high and 22.5 cm thick if each brick measures 25cm by 11.25 by 6cm

Heya..

Since Volume of wall = l*b*h

= 8m * 6m * 22.5cm

= 800cm * 600cm * 22.5cm

= 10,800,000 cm^3

And ..

Volume of each brick = 25cm* 11.25cm * 6cm

= 1,687.5 cm^3

Hence number of bricks

= Volume of wall / Volume of each brick

= 10,800,000 / 1,687.5

= 6,400
