How many bricks will be required to construct a wall 10 m long ,4dM wide and 3 m high. If each brick measures 25 cm × 12 cm ×8 cm.​

wall

h=3m

l=10m

b=4

volume of cuboid(wall)

= h×l×b

= 3×10×4d

= 30×4d

= 120dsq.m

volume of cuboid(brick)

= 25×12×8 (given)

= 300×8

= 2400sq.m

v(wall)=v(brick)

120d=2400

d=2400/120

d=20

therefore 20 bricks are required to construct the wall
