no. of bricks = vol. of wall ÷ vol. of one brick

=1000×300×40 ÷ 25×12×8

=12000000/2400

=5000

5000 bricks will be required to construct a wall

Step-by-step explanation:

1 m = 100 cm

1 dm = 10 cm

Length of wall = 10 m = 1000 cm

Breadth of wall = 3 m = 300 cm

Height of wall = 4 dm = 40 cm

Volume of wall = Length \times Breadth \times Height = 1000 \times 300 \times 40 =12000000 cm^3

Length of brick = 25 cm

Breadth of brick  = 12 cm

Height of brick  = 8 cm

Volume of brick =Length \times Breadth \times Height = 25 \times 12 \times 8=2400 cm^3

No. of bricks will be required to construct a wall = \frac{12000000}{2400}=5000

Hence 5000 bricks will be required to construct a wall
