Explanation:

Carboxylation means Adding of CO2

Decarboxylation means eliminating CO2

Decarboxylation occurs twice and carboxylation occurs once

DECARBOXYLATION -

1] In mesophyll at initial stage during conversion of CO2 to Phospho Enol Pyruvate

2]. In Calvin cycle During conversion of Rubulose bi phosphate here CO2 is fixed by RuBiSco i.e, Decarboxylation and converted to 6 carbon containing unstable compound

CARBOXYLATION - In Bundle sheath Malic acid is converted to 3 Carbon containing compound there CO2 is released
