I hope this answer is correct

Length and breadth of the hall= 14m and 9m respectively
Area of the room= Length x Breadth
= 14 x 9= 126 m2
Length and breadth of the carpet= 7m and 3m respectively
Area of the carpet= 7 x 3=21 m2
Therefore, to find the number of carpets required, we divide the area of the hall by the area of the carpet. Doing so we get the answer as:
126/21=6
Therefore, we will need 6 carpets to cover the entire hall.
Hope this helps
