How many carpets, each 4 m lona and 2.5 m wide, will be required to cover
completely the floor of a hall 20 mlong and 13 mwide?

4×2.5=10.0

20×13=260

260/10=26carpets

area of the carpet=4×2.5
=10m^2

area of the floor = 20×13
=260m^2

no. of carpets required = 260÷10
=26

26 carpets are required to cover the floor.
