How many carpets of dimensions 3m×2m are required to cover the whole floor of a hall, whose dimensions are 30m×12m?​

Area of the floor = 30m × 12m = 360m2

So the no. of Carpets that are required = Area of the floor    = 360m2 = 60 .

                                                                   Area of the carpet       6m2
