# Amphibians :-

Amphi means two and bio means life. Amphibians were the first vertebrates to invade land but they have not fully adapted to terrestrial land.

→ In Amphibians three chambered heart is present :- two auricles and one ventricle.

The left and right auricles receive blood from the lungs and the rest of the body respectively.

But the ventricle pumps out mixed blood.
