6 chromosomesSince the diploid number of mosquitoes is six, that means that there are 6 chromosomes in every somatic (non-reproductive) cell, including the cells that make up the stomach.

Heyaa folk,
6 chromosomes.
There are six chromosomes in the mosquito. 2 for females, males are haploid and thus have 1; smallest number possible. Other ant species have more chromosomes. This species can have more B chromosomes than A chromosomes at times, but 2n=4. The 2n=6 chromosome number is conserved in the entire family Culicidae, and hence there are 6 chromosomes in mosquito.
Hope it helps u :)
