Answer:

Hence we have to add 24 consecutive numbers to 1 to get 300

Step-by-step explanation:

As we have to find , how many consecutive natural number starting from 1 should be added to get 300 ,

So they are :- 1 + 2 + 3 ......  24 [ the 24 have to be calculated ]

So let , a1 = 1 , a2 = 2 and a3 = 3

so , a2 - a1 = 2 - 1 = 1

      a3 - a2 = 3 - 2 = 1

So as a2- a1 = a3 - a2 , and it forms an AP

with a = 1 and d = 2-1 = 1 and an = 300

hence by the formula of tn = a + (n-1)d , we will get the number

tn = a + (n-1)d

24 = 1 + ( n-1 ) 1

24 = 1 + 1n - 1

24 = 1n

n = \frac{24}{1}

n = 24
