How many cubes each of edge 3 cm can be cut from a cube edge of 15 cm

No. of cube = Volume of bigger cube/volume of Smaller cube  

=(15cm)³/(3cm)³= (5×3)³/3³ = 5³ = 125

We know that,

Volume of a cube= a³

So, volume of the smaller cube= 3×3×3= 27 cm³

Now, Edge of larger cube= 15 cm

Volume= 15×15×15= 3375 cm³

Number of cubes of edge 3 cm that can be cut from a cube of edge 15 cm= Volume of the larger cube÷Volume of smaller cube

= 3375÷ 27

= 125 cubes

Answer= 125 cubes
