Find the area of 1 face of the small cube:

A cube has 6 faces

6 faces = 24 dm²

1  face = 24 ÷ 6 = 4 dm²

Find the length of the small cube:

Area = Length x Length

Length² = 4 dm²

Length = √4

Length = 2 dm

Convert dm to m:

2 dm = 0.2 m

Find the number of cubes length-wise:

Number of cubes = 1 ÷ 0.2 = 5 cubes

Find the number of cubes breadth-wise:

Number of cubes = 1 ÷ 0.2 = 5 cubes

Find the number of cubes height-wise:

Number of cubes = 1 ÷ 0.2 = 5 cubes

Find the total number of cubes:

Total number of cubes = 5 x 5 x 5 = 125

Answer: 125 cubes
