Solution:-

Given:-

Volume of a cube= 729 cubic cm

To find:-

Side of a cube=?

As we know that:-

Volume(Cube)=(Side)³

Since all the sides of a cube are equal to each other.

Let the value of one side of a cube=x cm.

So all the sides are equal to x cm each.

Thus,

  • (Side)³=729 cubic cm;
  • (x)³=729 cu. cm
  • (x)³=(9×9×9) cu.cm
  • =(9)³ cu.cm;

so,

  • x = (9³)⅓
  • x = (9)^3/3
  • x =9¹
  • x =9 cm.

Therefore each side of a cube is 9 cm.
